Drum Point Lighthouse
Shown with the Chesapeake Bay Map.
Drum Point Lighthouse is only one of three remaining screwpile, cottage-type lighthouses that served the Chesapeake Bay. At the beginning of the twentieth century, forty-five of this style lighthouse served the Bay area. Drum Point at the mouth of the Patuxent River received her new lighthouse in 1883. Drum Point Light was moved to the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons, MD, in 1975 and remains the focus of the museum's waterfront.
This lighthouse is handcrafted from 3/4" thick wood, painted to reflect its colorful details. Search the design closely to find Casper, the black cat trademark.
Measures 4.5" X 4.875" and 3/4" thick. Wood.
The Cat's Meow Village started in Wooster, Ohio, in 1982 with one simplistic wooden house handcrafted by owner and creator, Faline Jones. Almost 35 years later, Jones and her “crew” continue to design "little wooden buildings" of local, national, and international landmarks that spark memories and bring smiles to the faces of “real life adventurers” like you.
Celebrate your favorite places by including these 3/4" thick wooden keepsakes in your home décor. A few favorite spots where Cat’s Meows like to reside are: perched on top of your window and door trim, tucked into your bookshelves, or sprawled across your fireplace mantle.
