Spring is officially here!
The time has come to break out your walking shoes and rediscover the natural wonders of this state. We will continue with our 2016 blog series, "Explore Your State," which honors 100 years of the National Park Service, and share some especially amazing places to visit. There is a reason Maryland is often called, "America in Miniature." Mountains, marshes, estuaries, flatlands, beaches, and more make up this state's magnificently diverse landscape.
But, exploring your state does not have to be overwhelming. In coordination with the Maryland Historical Society's We Are Maryland program, the next four posts will each feature one region of Maryland. The first post will focus on Central Maryland. Areas included are Baltimore city, and the following counties: Carroll, Harford, Howard, and Montgomery.
Look for the upcoming post, and in the meantime, check out our awesome outdoors collection!
