Native to the western prairies, the Black-Eyed Susan moved east when settlers opened roads to the Midwest. It is a magnet for butterflies in the summer and songbirds will cover the plants in autumn devouring the seeds. The Black-Eyed Susan has been the official Maryland flower since 1918 when it was designated the "Floral Emblem" of Maryland by the General Assembly .

Earrings hang approx. 1.5" and come in a grey gift box.
Finish: Solid brass, giclee print, hand gilded faux silver, ear wires are hypo-allergenic.
